Full of spunk and attitude, Spud is a fun little dog.  She is a versatile little dog, and has earned a few UKC Total Dog Awards.  Right now, we're actively competing in UKC Terrier Racing (where she has her Flat Racing Grand Championship and is on her way to her Steeple Racing Grand Championship).  In addition to Terrier Racing, she will be active in AKC and UKC Lure Coursing Ability/Aptitude Tests.

We are all very proud of Spud earning the ATTS Temperament Tested (TT) title in November 2011.  Spud and OE are the first of their breed to earn this title and I couldn't be more pleased or impressed with them right now!  October 2012, Spud earned the her AKC CA (Coursing Ability) title and December 2012, she earned her UKC CA (Coursing Aptitude) title.

The "Wonder Twins" were in a TV commercial in 2013!  Spud and OE appear twice in the Thunderleash commercial (http://youtu.be/57UmTIkNU4A) .  It's only two short clips of them, but we'll take what we can get.  They're at 0:08 and again at 0:23.

For 2014, she will be working towards her UKC CAX (she has 6 legs so far) and that ever elusive USGRCH (once we have competition in the CH class).

Spud still feels that Terrier Racing is the best thing in the world and she always throws her whole effort into every race.

Spud's conformation career was not her crowning glory.  She showed to her Championship and then Grand Championship, but never really enjoyed the show ring, so we didn't pursue it further.  She's a racing dog through and through!

Spud loves to lure course and has her AKC and UKC CA titles.  She has taken a short break, as she's decided she's a "straight course" kind of dog, so we've got to work on those issues before we get those advanced titles.  She prefers terrier racing to anything else!!
